How to add a German -> English dictionary to Kindle iOS app

Easy-peasy!
  1. Download the dictionary - or pick a different language or direction from here
  2. For German, rename the resulting "German-English.mobi" to "B003YL4LVQ_EBOK.azw"
  3. Using PhoneView (or a similar app), move the file to Kindle's Library/eBooks/ directory. Note: You may need to use the "Show All Apps" checkbox, to access Kindle's Library folder.
For other languages, just take a look at the Kindle/Library/eBooks/ directory, then download another language's dictionary within the Kindle app (via the little (i) button in the definition window), and then look in the Kindle/Library/eBooks/ directory again to see which file has newly appeared. Then delete or move it aside, and put your new one in place.

Bottling day!

Julie picked up some Grolsch-style bottles (32oz and 16oz), and we bottled the beer this morning! Now, just 2 more weeks of carbonation, and another 2 weeks of cold conditioning, and it'll be ready! Had a bit of help:

Mr. Beer: Day 5

A: Less foam, darker yellow
S: Doesn't smell as strongly anymore.
T: Almost no sour flavor left. Not as sweet as I expected.

Really curious to see what this turns in to.

Mr. Beer: Day 2

A: Still a nice layer of foam on top
S: Slightly stronger sour smell today?
T: Less sour

Mr. Beer: Day 1

A: Looks yellow, cloudy, and even has a tiny bit of head / white foam on top!
S: Woah, smells like beer! I was expecting to smell something awful, but it smelled like thin beer, and even had a tiny hint of the honey.
T: First second: tastes like cheap beer that was left out in the sun. Seconds 2-30: Ungh, fairly bitter / sour. Seconds 30-: something interesting.

I've heard sour is fairly normal early, but extremely sour may mean it's infected. Don't think it's extreme, so I've got hope :-) Even though I was careful to clean and disinfect everything (can opener, whisk, etc.), some sources of foreign bacteria introduction might have been:
1) I brushed out the last of the yeast by hand
2) The local honey, probably unpasteurized?

Mr Beer: West Coast Pale Ale

Made my first batch of beer Sunday (2/26) night! Used a Mr. Beer kit: West Coast Pale Ale, and added ~1/4c local honey.

I plan on sampling it every 24 hours (via dispenser spout), to watch the fermentation progression.

Port: Taylor Fladgate LBV 2005

Incredible. Tasted this next to the Dow LBV 2005, and the TF was a hands-down winner.

What would you teach?

If someone asked you to stand up and address a small crowd for 15 minutes (to fill the time during technical difficulties, for example) what would you share?
